Transforming a 1950’s Box into a Williamsburg Cottage

This recently completed cottage renovation project is located on a 2,500 acre estate near Gordonsville, VA. Portions of the main house (listed on the National Register) were renovated, turn of the century barns were restored, and tenant houses were gutted and renovated in various styles from Victorian to Colonial Williamsburg. Improvements to this house included an entirely new second floor, steep roofs, new windows, siding heating bathrooms kitchen, dining room addition and extensive site work.
